she has lived the dance #17

As I wander thru the aging process myself, I love making portraits of elderly people, especially in India. Indians are very willing to be photographed. Men and women alike allow you to ‘see’ them with all their worts, no pun intended. I have a friend who visits me occasionally, and she does not enter the room for morning coffee without her ‘face’ on. That is symbolic of the youth driven society here in the USA. We do not value our elders; and that is a loss to our sense of humanity.
